Notice Concerning Capital Investment in Food Packaging Business
RIKEN TECHNOS CORPORATION (the “Company”) hereby announces that it will be carrying out capital investment in its food packaging business as part of its growth investments.

The RIKEN TECHNOS GROUP is working to achieve a value-creating balance sheet—one of the growth strategies in the new three-year medium-term business plan “One Vision, New Stage 2027” that started in April 2025—and is promoting growth investments.
This capital investment plan follows the Mie Factory expansion plan announced in July 2025, with approximately 4 billion yen of growth investments being planned in the food packaging business. Machinery and such for the film formation process of wraps for food packaging and packaging process of small-roll wraps will be installed respectively at Saitama Factory and Mie Factory and scheduled to progressively start operation from FY2026. The Company will strengthen production capacity and establish a stable supply system in anticipation of future market expansion and customer needs.
The RIKEN TECHNOS GROUP will continue to strive to achieve optimal allocation of management resources for enhancement of corporate value.

In 1966, RIKEN TECHNOS CORPORATION became the first company in Japan to develop wraps for food packaging using polyvinyl chloride (PVC). Currently, food packaging wraps are being manufactured in Japan and overseas. The food packaging wrap products of RIKEN TECHNOS have excellent adhesion and stretchability, allowing them to be used in a wide range of scenarios, from the fresh food sections of supermarkets and such, to professional kitchens—including those in restaurants and hotels—as well as home kitchens.
