RIKEN (THAILAND) CO., LTD. Starts Full-Scale Operation of Solar Power Generation Facility

RIKEN (THAILAND) CO., LTD. (Head Office: Pathumthani Province, Thailand; Director, President: Hiroki Ieda), a consolidated subsidiary of RIKEN TECHNOS CORPORATION (Head Office: Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo; Representative Director, President & CEO: Kazuaki Tokiwa), has started full-scale operation of a solar power generation facility.

RIKEN (THAILAND) CO., LTD. has installed rooftop solar panels at its factory site in Thailand and started full-scale operation from January 2026. With a total of 4,742 panels installed, it will be able to generate enough solar power for approximately 13% of the total power requirements of its factory, thereby reducing CO₂ emissions by approximately 1,164 tons annually.

The RIKEN TECHNOS GROUP has established “Contribution to a sustainable global environment” as a key issue (materiality topic) and is enhancing sustainability-related initiatives such as responding to climate change.
